President’s Message: AAE Connection is Now Live

I am pleased to announce the launch of one of the most powerful member benefits in AAE history, AAE Connection. AAE Connection is your endodontic community and opportunity to connect with thousands of endodontic professionals representing the specialty all around the world. I am excited by the prospects of this new initiative and confident it has the potential to continue the advancement of the specialty in a host of new ways. Now, with this launch, AAE Connection is open to you!

Based on requests from members for an endodontic networking space for sharing and giving feedback on cases, for offering greater clinical content and enhancing networking among members, the AAE Board of Directors approved development of AAE Connection. Additionally, the Board recognized the Association’s need to develop volunteer and engagement opportunities that are accessible to young members. Current discussions on the topic of engaging the next generation in association volunteerism conclude that success depends on the ability of associations to offer flexible, shorter-term opportunities for micro-engagement. An online community could be a vehicle to offer this type of engagement. Thanks to the Special Committee to Develop an Online Community, we are excited to introduce AAE Connection and invite all members to join the conversation today!
