The Code: Understanding the CDT, Insurance Reimbursement, and AAE’s Advocacy Process – Ep. 26

Guest: Elizabeth Perry, D.M.D.

“Code for what you do” is a mantra echoed in the chambers of the Code Maintenance Committee, but it’s easier said than done if the CDT does not have the correct procedural codes to capture the practice of endodontics. Moreover, a properly filed dental insurance claim requires using the correct codes. This is where AAE’s growing advocacy efforts come into play. Endo Voices was honored to sit down with Board-certified endodontist and AAE coding representative Dr. Elizabeth Perry to take a deep dive into the journey of dental coding and insurance advocacy at the AAE.
