Executive Director Ken Widelka Earns American College of Healthcare Executives Fellowship

American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and Foundation for Endodontics Executive Director Ken Widelka recently became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). FACHE candidates must meet several requirements prior to sitting for the Board of Governors Exam, including healthcare-related continuing education, involvement in community/civic and healthcare-related activities.

“The AAE and Foundation play key roles in oral health, which of course is closely linked to systemic health,” Widelka said. “I recognized that to be a more effective leader, I needed to build my understanding of a core body of knowledge that allows me to adapt and grow. Achieving Board certification in healthcare management through the FACHE credential has helped me to further develop my capabilities in the dynamic environment in which our members operate.”
