AAE Shares New Influencer Collaboration and High-Profile Media Interviews and Pickups

The AAE has enjoyed a series of high-profile media hits, including two instances of being included in major titles, and a major influencer collaboration.

Recently, AAE President Dr. Natasha M. Flake contributed to a New York Times article that lists five common, avoidable behaviors that often land people at the dentist. Dr. Flake warns about the dental trauma chewing on hard, inedible items can cause.

AAE President-Elect Dr. Steven J. Katz was extensively quoted in a recent TIME article, How to Tell if You’re Clenching Your Jaw—and How to Stop, that was also syndicated on AOL and Yahoo.

And, as if the publication was on an endodontics streak, another AAE member also was recently featured in a TIME article, Reading This Will Make You Want to Floss: Dr. Anita Aminoshariae. The article also mentioned how Dr. Aminoshariae and her co-authors found that people with very poor oral health—those with 10 or fewer natural teeth left in their mouths—were about 66% more likely to die from cardiovascular disease than people with more robust smiles. More on that here.

Then just last week, our latest influencer collaboration launched, with hockey player Kasimir Kaskisuo, who has an extensive following on Instagram and TikTok. Check out the video!

Lastly, we also launched two mass-released news articles which were picked up on more than 1,200 print and online outlets each: Debunking 5 Common Myths About Root Canal Treatment and Why a Healthier Mouth Equals a Healthier You.
