AAE Life Member Dr. Howard Pranikoff Receives Florida Dental Association’s J. Leon Schwartz Lifetime Achievement Award
The AAE would like to recognize Life member Dr. Howard Pranikoff for receiving the Florida Dental Association’s 2022 J. Leon Schwartz Lifetime Achievement Award.
Dr. Pranikoff attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dentistry and graduated in 1971. He went on to practice general dentistry for five years. In 1979, he attended Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry and obtained his Master of Science in endodontics. He practiced endodontics in upstate New York and then in Ormond Beach, Fla., until his retirement in 2018.
Dr. Pranikoff has a passion for organized dentistry and was a leader in many organizations — including the ADA, Volusia County Dental Association and the Jewish Federation of Volusia & Flagler Counties. Dr. Pranikoff has served the Florida Dental Association throughout the years as a member of the House of Delegates and Board of Trustees, and as a member of the FDA Services Board of Directors. He currently serves on the Board of Governors for Tel Aviv University.
