A Year Worth Saving: A Look Back

Despite a global pandemic, the AAE’s public awareness initiative Worth Saving achieved new levels during 2021. It  took on a slightly new tone and a strengthened focus on preserving natural teeth and oral health.

Worth Saving is AAE’s multi-year public awareness campaign that educates the public about the value of saving the natural teeth and helping them seek endodontists for treatment. Before setting out to achieve new milestones in this new year, we’re taking some time to look back and reflect on last year’s Top Ten successes, in the spirit of New Year’s Eve’s countdown to midnight.

10. The AAE completed two incredible satellite news media tours*
President Dr. Alan S. Law participated in more than 38 interviews which reached over 33 million people!

9. AAE’s web properties experienced massive digital campaign performance success in FY20-21**

There were 2,000,013 patient website users (up 68% year over year) and 69,788 FindMyEndodontist.com Users (up 40% year over year)!

8. Increased Online Ad Activity**

AAE’s ads made 9,500,016 Impressions (up 168% year over year) and had

75,050 clicks on “Tooth Pain” Paid Media (up 71% year over year)!

There was above and beyond #EndoStrong member spirit and participation!

5. Two Times Square Placements

The AAE placed  graphics on  electronic Times Square billboards on Black Friday – the busiest shopping day of the year! It also secured a spot in February.

4. New and Improved FindMyEndodontist.com

Our online directory was re-developed to improve user experiences for patients and strengthen the site’s mobile functionality. It was recalibrated to showcase AAE members’ profiles and their practices more effectively.

3. National Media Coverage Beyond Satellite Media Tours

AAE voices appeared in CNN.com, USA Today, the Chicago Sun-Times and more!

2. Viral Social Media

AAE increased its online following:

32,936 total Facebook followers

9,441 total LinkedIn followers

3,981 total Twitter Followers

AAE videos have more than 500,000 views on YouTube!
